Previously only announced for an iOS release, it's been confirmed that XCOM 2 Collection will be hitting Android devices next year.

Available on iOS November 5, XCOM 2 Collection will be a coming to Android at a much later date – some time in 2021 to be exact. Feral Interactive was asked about iOS exclusivity by a Twitter user named Mosey, to which it replied, "There will be an Android version next year, Mosey." No date, no price – but confirmation that the beloved game will in fact be available on Google Play.

XCOM 2 Collection includes the full game found on PC along with War of the Chosens DLC and four other expansions. While folks may have been worried it was an iPhone exclusive, it shouldn't be too surprising to see it heading to Android. Another game in the series, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, first launched on iOS before heading over to Android nearly a year later.

XCOM 2 Collection is currently available for pre-order on the App Store for $25. It's a hefty price for a mobile game, but you're getting the complete XCOM 2 experience in the palm of your hand. Another strategy game, Civilization 6, recently got the mobile treatment and was listed at a similarly large price tag. Unlike XCOM 2 Collection, however, each expansion had to be purchased individually.

Android users can look forward to XCOM 2 Collection some time next year.
