The entire XCOM subreddit is full of sexy snake waifus because of XCOM: Chimera Squad.
XCOM: Chimera Squad comes out on Thursday. For the first time, you’ll be able to take command of a mixed squad full of humans, Sectoids, Mutons, and even Vipers. Your squad is tasked with the preservation of City 31, a shining example of what aliens and humans can do once they put their differences aside and try to work together.
Because humans and aliens are working together, the XCOM subreddit has taken that to mean that Vipers aren’t all that bad. In fact, some of them can be kinda nice. And some of them could even be a lot more than just nice.
Yes, the XCOM subreddit is downright thirsty for sexy snek girls. Scroll down and you’ll be treated (or maybe assaulted) to at least several different posts of Viper fanart. Which we’ll of course be reposting here because we love you and our new snake companions.
XCOM 2 designer Jake Solomon recently discovered just how thirsty the XCOM subreddit has become for his Viper design, and he seems to have taken the news well. I mean, not as well as the XCOM subreddit, obviously, but he’s not running away screaming.
Those without artistic skills but who support their new snek waifus have taken to showing that support in memes. Because it’s 2020 and what else are you going to do while you’re stuck at home alone with way too much time on your hands?
