Ever since Monolith Soft found substantial success with the original Xenoblade Chronicles on the Nintendo Wii home console, the Xenoblade series has been known for applying a strange touch to its monster nomenclature. There are recurring enemy species, like Volffs and Piranhax, and one would think super-bosses would have names like "Epic Volff" and "Piranhax Prime." But no. No, this is a franchise full to bursting with foes like Unmovable Gonzalez. And... Sad Bernard.
Why? Who knows? It's worth a laugh, even if your chuckles will soon be replaced by horrifying shrieks should you go up against these uber-powerful unique monsters unprepared. And while proper preparation is the kind of thing that warrants a dozen or more guides, we'll gladly tell you where you can find every optional boss in Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
