Xenoblade Chronicles 3: How To Unlock The Postgame Lifesage Class
The Lifesage is one of Xenoblade Chronicles 3's top-secret postgame classes. Heavy spoilers ahead!
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 invites players to enjoy some postgame goings-on with several fresh activities. Chief among them are two powerful Unique Classes (and their respective Heroes) that can only be unlocked after we've seen the credits roll. Afterward, booting up our final save file, which will set us back just prior to the final boss and ending, is enough to kickstart the mission to grab these classes.

Royal Summoner is one; Lifesage is the other. This guide covers the latter, including an overview as well as the steps necessary to make it yours.
What Is The Lifesage Class?
The LIfesage is, and maybe the name clued you in, one of Xenoblade Chronicles 3's Healer classes. As it is a postgame unlock, it's by far the last one you'll receive (and many players might set the game back on their shelves without ever knowing it exists).
That would be a shame because this is a pretty awesome class. Lifesage has stellar healing power, and offensively it's not as bad as most of its fellow Healer classes, courtesy of an 'A' in Attack's rank.
Saber Slash is Lifesage's bread-and-butter Combat Art, at least as far as we're concerned. It targets an enemy, taking advantage of that 'A' rank nice and neatly, whilst healing everyone in a radius for 100 percent strength.
There's even fun, off-the-wall, stuff you won't find elsewhere that's just as good or better. 'Cellular Stimulus' has a chance to strike with power equivalent to 200 percent healing power.
But what many players will need most if they're venturing off to take on the mightiest Unique Monsters is a Healer who is steadfast at keeping everyone's HP as close to max as possible. On that most critical of fronts, Lifesage also delivers.
Be aware of massive spoilers from hereon out! We deliberately concealed the identity of the Lifesage, but we can't quite do that going forward without becoming awkwardly obtuse.
How To Unlock The Lifesage Class
And so we've arrived at one of Xenoblade Chronicles 3's loveliest of twists — one of the leading heroines from Xenoblade Chronicles 2, the irrepressible Nia herself, can join the team in the postgame.
Make no mistake, Nia is fantastic. The Lifesage class complements her well enough that you might just decide to keep her with you in the Hero slot rather than teaching it to someone else. Her Attack rank is 'S', so she can cause all sorts of pain whilst simultaneously succeeding in the role of Healer better than quite possibly any other Hero there is.
Hey, she's postgame for a reason.
So, how tough is it to convince Nia to squad up? Not tough at all. You just have to know where you're going. In Upper Aetia, head to the Hall of the Serene. There's a '?' quest marker so you can't miss it. (Remember, if you've not yet beaten the game at least once, it won't be there.)
Upon your arrival, a fantastic cutscene will trigger. And, upon its completion, the equally fantastic feline queen will tag along at long last.
