American esports organization XSET has entered the competitive Counter-Strike scene with the signing of a championship-winning all-female squad. The organization announced their acquisition of the Originem lineup yesterday, who will make their debut under the XSET name this December.

The roster features some of the most well-known female CS:GO competitors, including Swedish players Julia “juliano” Kiran and Zainab “zAAz” Turkie. The two are some of the most decorated female CS:GO players, both boasting careers that date back to at least 2010. The two won Intel Challenge Katowice together, first with WeRunThisPlace and later with Team Secret, in 2016 and 2017.

Juliano and zAAz were joined by Michaela “mimi” Lintrup for both of those victories, who later rejoined them on Originem, and will now continue to compete alongside them under the XSET banner. 19-year-old Anastasia "kr4sy" Khlobystina and Petra “Petra” Stoker complete the roster. Since coming together earlier this year, the team has won the Ambush Female Invitational, DreamHack Showdown Summer 2020 Europe, and the Galaxy Racer Female Invitational.

This signing is part of the XSET organization’s expansion, which saw them sign a competitive VALORANT team and bring on rapper Swae Lee as an investor. The organization also hosts teams competing in PUBG Mobile, Rocket League, Fortnite, and Call of Duty: Warzone.

XSET will make their debut in DreamHack Open December, which is set to begin on December 10th.
