Bandai Namco has released a trailer showing Yoruichi from Bleach in action, as she's due to join Jump Force as a DLC character in 2021.

The final two DLC characters in Jump Force were accidentally leaked by Bandai Namco back in November. The leak revealed that the next two characters are Yoruichi from Bleach and Giorno Giovanna from part five of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. Bandai Namco confirmed that the leaks were legit, though it stressed that the characters might differ in how they play, as the leaked videos showed versions of the fighters that were still in development.

Bandai Namco has released images of Yoruichi in the past, but now we can finally see her in action. A trailer of Yoruichi in Jump Force has been uploaded to the official Bandai Namco YouTube channel, along with confirmation that she will be arriving in all versions of the game in early 2021. Yoruichi can be purchased on her own, but if you buy the second Character Pass, then you will have access to her four days early.

The trailer confirms that Yoruichi will be a fast character, with a similar fighting style to the one she used in Bleach. She also uses her Thunder Beast form, where she surrounds her body with electricity and creates cat-like claws to strike her enemies. Yoruichi was one of the Bleach characters who never revealed their Bankai, so her Thunder Beast form is likely her finishing move.

Once Yoruichi is released, the only remaining DLC fighter in Jump Force will be Giorno. It's unclear if Bandai Namco is planning a third Character Pass, as there are plenty of Weekly Shonen Jump characters who could make their way to the roster. Jump Force is notably lacking in characters from new series. The Bleach anime is making a comeback, so it makes sense to include more characters from that series, but Jump Force could really use some new blood in its roster.
