These recipes require specific ingredients to make and will reward you with excellent buffs when consumed, such as increasing your Strength and Defense, restoring 2,100 HP, and much more.

As mentioned above, you can also give these recipes to Mishy, who will provide you with unique and valuable rewards in return. This includes the Aeolus Rune Adventure Gear you obtain when feeding them six different meals and the Earth Orb Accessory you get when giving him twelve recipes. Fresh Vegetable Juice

Miralda in Ys 8 Lacrimosa of Dana

While the longest a recipe effect can last is five minutes, you may find yourself in situations where you need to consume another meal for its healing properties or unique effect but can't due to another one being active. Usually, you would either have to wait it out or rest to clear the meal's effect, but there is one more method you can utilize to purge yourself of the food buffs.

After recruiting Miralda to Castaway Island in Chapter 3, she will eventually offer you the opportunity to turn gathered vegetables into Fresh Vegetable Juice, allowing you to consume it to erase your currently activated recipe effects. Though this isn't the most significant benefit in the world, it can help you in a pinch, especially if you need a lot of health restored and have already consumed a meal.

Lastly, while it's technically counted as a recipe since you need vegetables to make it, Fresh Vegetable Juice is not required for Mishy's questline as he only accepts the abovementioned twelve meals. However, we still recommend seeking out Miralda and learning how to make Fresh Vegetable Juice, as it will give you a slight nudge to your reputation, getting you closer to the 200 needed for the secret ending.
