A very dedicated Twilight Princess fan has completed the entire game without taking any damage and has uploaded the entire process to their YouTube channel. Speedrunner Samura1man has claimed on Reddit to be the first in the world to have completed Twilight Princess without being hit, using glitches, or blocking with a shield.

The video includes a number of impressive displays against the game's bosses, including a 13-second takedown of Ganondorf which really makes you question why he's such a feared enemy in the first place. Samura1man's video also includes some neat little tricks that show you how to avoid taking damage players otherwise thought was unavoidable, for example, the Goron who rolls into the player in an attempt to get them to leave the Goron village alone.

If you're impressed and are planning to sit down to watch the entire thing, you'll definitely be in it for the long haul. It doesn't make Samura1man's performance any less impressive, but the speedrunner completed their no-hit run in 7 hours and 21 minutes, a record that might explain why it's taken almost 15 years for a no-hit run to be completed.

Samura1man goes into why it's taken so long for this kind of run to be accomplished on Reddit, explaining that it might be a combination of people not really being interested and not thinking it was actually possible. They then go on to explain that videos of people doing bosses without taking damage and Dark Souls No-Hit speedruns inspired them to attempt a similar run in Twilight Princess. Whatever the case may be, congrats to Samura1man for their absolutely herculean effort!

Zelda speedrunners have been in the news quite frequently as of late, with speedrunner ScottFalco showing off an exploit in Breath of the Wild that allows the player to obtain the Master Sword with as little as four hearts. First discovered by Bot_W, ScottFalco uploaded a video to Twitter earlier this month, showing players how to pull off the trick by simply placing a campfire near the sword.
